1. Who we are
AccPro Lite ("the Service") is operated by AccPro Investment Company (Pty) Ltd("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in the Republic of South Africa. By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. The Service
AccPro Lite is a cloud-based accounting, payroll, banking and compliance platform for South African businesses and accounting practices. Features include a general ledger, bank reconciliation, invoicing, payroll, SARS and CIPC compliance tooling, document storage and an AI accounting assistant.
3. Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for any activity under your account.
- If you sign up on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:
- use it for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive;
- send spam or malware, or attempt to interfere with security controls;
- reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service; or
- infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights.
5. Payment, billing and taxes
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the frequency shown at checkout (currently monthly) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing page or via Paddle.
6. Free trial
We may offer a free trial period. Your paid subscription starts automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends. You will not be charged during the trial.
7. Intellectual property
We (and our licensors) own the Service, including its software, branding, documentation and content. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your chosen plan. You retain ownership of the data and documents you upload.
8. Your content
You grant us a limited licence to host and process your content solely to provide and improve the Service. We do not sell your data.
9. Availability & warranties
We aim to keep the Service running reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages including loss of profit, data or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where such limitation is prohibited by law.
11. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. On termination we will make your data available for export for a reasonable period, after which it may be deleted.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the courts of South Africa have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email.
